The owners Debi & Ron are gracious host. Debi went out of her way to help us navigate getting in on the first day.
We love the campground, very private, directly across from the lake and gated for security.
The bath house and laundry room was very clean with nice washers and dryers.

Absolutely one of the best parks we stayed in. It’s a small park, maybe 11 sights. Gated community with a pond. Very quiet and clean. Bath house and laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers. Owner is currently adding a pet washing station. Within a couple of miles to beach and shopping. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic location, yet secluded and private. Ten-minute bicycle ride from beaches, groceries, and stores. The owners are friendly and helpful. A gate with a code ensures security in the evening, and a bathhouse provides guests with hot water showers, clean restroom, and washers and dryers. Fishing in the lake is relaxed and old-school. Almost ten full-electric sites with water ensure that this campground never feels overcrowded. My two-week stay was approximately $53.00 per day/night. I would stay here again simply based on the location, yet the serenity, cost, and friendliness of the owners make a return visit a no-brainer for me.

Great little place outside of St. Augustine. It’s a ‘no frills and self sufficient park’ but it was clean, quiet, safe, with full hookups. It was a perfect landing spot for our couple nights passing through the area. We rode our bikes into town, just a 3 mile bike ride. Was easy and accommodating. Definitely would go back.

Enjoyed our visit very much. The hosts Rod and Debi were very personable and assisted us with all our needs. Small, quiet and quaint campground with great access to downtown. Unfortunately we had a water leak in our camper, but the laundry and bathhouse were great. Thank you for your hospitality Rod & Debi!

Our 2nd stay at the Hideaway! Very engaged owners. The other campers are very friendly and welcoming. Nice pond for catch and release fishing. Felt very secure in the campground.

Reservations and payment are online, stay was very nice, and neighbors were great. Nights were quiet, with only occasional noise from the road. We faced a lake with lots of trees. We will return.

We had a great stay here. TBH we felt like family with everyone there. Quiet and peaceful…the lake is amazing just like the owners. My puppy grew up here and I was sad to leave but duty call elsewhere. Highly recommend, double 5 stars if that was an option!

We stayed here for three nights after coming in town for a family wedding. We were in site 4 and my Daughter and boyfriend stayed in the cottage right next to us which was great. The owners communication was great from booking to check out. They met us on arrival to show us to our site and even stopped by to check in on us. This is a great little site that is clean and super close to down town Saint Augustine. We Ubered downtown for $12 each way. If your not looking for a RV resort with pools entertainment and high prices but want a quiet secured place to camp this is a little hidden gem. We would stay here again.

Privately-run RV park that is extremely convenient to Saint Augustine. A limited number of sites are available and have full connections. Very reasonably priced. Small but immaculate bath house with 2 washers/dryers (brand new/free). Couple running the park are very helpful and accommodating. Park is 2 miles off I-95 and 1.5 miles northwest of downtown on King Street. Park has boat parking and also has a fishing lake that has some nice bass.

We decided to take the Sprinter out to St. Augustine for the weekend to see the Lights in the downtown area. Debbie was very communicative, sweet and found a great spot for us. The facilities are very clean and quiet. We left the sprinter and took an Uber into town (about $26 one way) We gave the location a 4 star because there was no concrete pad for the spot we parked or any fire pit area. Overall, quick adjustments on our end but a great spot to hang.

Although arriving late, Debi stayed until we arrived and showed us to our perfect spot on the campground. We spent a wonderful time enjoying the Nights of Lights in Saint Augustine and were only a short Uber ride away from Hideaway. Will definitely come back!

36′ motorhome in site #2 with nearby bathhouse a plus as my water heater had failed. Quiet, privately owned campground with it’s own fishing pond. Solid water supply and 50 amp service. Nice place. Only 3 1/2 miles from stop #1 of Old Town Trolley – highly recommend for overview of St. Augustine.

October 2024. Staying at the Cottage at Hideaway Trails was wonderful. You’re conveniently located just minutes away from anything you could need and downtown. Debi was super pleasant and was accommodating to our stay. She made sure our needs were met. The cottage itself was very clean and I would highly recommend staying there as I am sure I will again!

Nice small and quiet campground. The facilities were very clean and easy to access. The host Debi is very responsive and accommodating. She loaned me an electrical adapter for our camper. While the location isn’t far from the historical district, I can’t recommend biking or walking to downtown. The traffic is a little too busy for that in my opinion. No points deducted for that since we had no trouble finding good parking downtown each day we visited. Great place to stay.

We just stayed here for a week. The place’s facilities were well kept. We really enjoyed the stay and caught some nice sized bass in the pond. The owners came over to set us up at out site and arranged having a 50 amp to 110 adapter for our use. Laundry facilities on the property.
Really enjoyed talking with the people at camp met a few military veterans. Great place to stay! Would highly recommend staying here and I plan to stay here again hopefully soon.
Local stores and restaurants were a couple miles away and Historic St. Augustine was very easy to navigate to.

Hideaway Trail at Coquina Pond is a very pretty and peaceful campground in St Augustine. A 10 or 15 minute drive will take you most anywhere in St Aug. The campground is next to a nice sized pond and our site was under moss-draped oak trees. The site was level for our travel trailer and the full hookups were convenient. Our power box was 50 amp, which we stepped down to 30 with a converter. The owners were helpful, nice and pleasant. I hope to stay there again when we visit St Aug again.

This was a great place to stay to see St. Augustine. Only a short (less than 10-15 minutes) but in a quiet, quaint campground. It had all the necessary amenities such as water, electric, sewage, bath house, laundry. It was clean. Owners were very friendly, responsive. The people at the park were all friendly and got along well. I loved the lake, great sunrise views. My husband even got a little fishing in. I’d love to know the history of the place as there were some unique out buildings that were interesting.

This is definitely a sweet little gem of a place to stay! We were lucky enough to find a park in the area to accommodate us for the dates we needed. The owners are very transparent and accommodating, keeping us up to date, communicating on our arrival date to greet us upon arrival. Ms. Debi guided me into our spot for the week and let us know where everything was located. My husband said “I’d just stay here!” If you love the natural outdoors but the convenience of seeing the area attractions or just want to hang out and chill with nature, this is a great place to stay. We don’t require a pool and will gladly camp lakeside with a beautiful pond to relax and even fish on. Our pups had some of the best walks which we prefer over dog parks and pet illnesses that can come from them. Thank you so much for everything Ms. Debi and Mr. Rod! Absolutely the best place to bring a camper if you’re in the Saint Augustine area. Quiet safe little campground the host/owners go above and beyond to get you in the campground and settled. Also the sunset over the lake on the property is a beautiful view in the afternoons. You’re also close to any food or groceries you may need. The washing facility’s are kept clean and tidy. sooooo pet friendly bring your pups!

Great spot for a weekend camping trip. Nice sized, shaded sites in a peaceful setting. Nice shower room with washer and dryer. Just a few minutes from historic Saint Augustine. Owners were terrific. Helped us set up in the dark while it was raining.

This was such a cute and clean place to stay. The kitchen had all the things we needed, the bathroom was clean and well stocked, the bed room and the tv was also very comfortable. My husband loves to grill and the wood burning and propane grill was ideal for enjoying an out door barbecue. My kids enjoyed playing outside and we will definitely be back to this little gem that was close to the historic city of St Augustine
